For this project, I was required to design a label for bath salts. Mami Wata is known for being the oldest and most popular African mermaid in history, which is why I chose her name for my label design. The bath salts label takes inspiration from her name as well as her love for water. I also illustrated two different mermaids for this project, as I feel like taking a bath can create a connection to these creatures. I also designed a sun in the background, as well as some water leaves to represent an even deeper connection to the sea.
